About TempBox

Last updated: 15 October 2026

TempBox is a free disposable (temporary) email service. It gives you a throwaway inbox in one click — no sign-up, no password, no personal details — so you can receive a confirmation or verification email without handing out your real address.

How it works

• Open the site and you instantly get a random address at a domain we operate.
• Use it to sign up for something, then watch the inbox here for the incoming mail.
• The address and all its messages are automatically deleted when the timer runs out.

What it is good for

• Avoiding spam and marketing mail in your real inbox.
• Quick, one-off sign-ups, downloads and trials.
• Developers and QA testers who need throwaway inboxes (a developer API is coming — see the blog).

Important limits

• Receive only. You cannot send email from a TempBox address.
• Temporary. Messages are not kept long-term — do not use TempBox for anything you need to keep or for important accounts.
• Public by nature. Disposable addresses are not private mailboxes; never use one for sensitive or personal information.
